East Carolina University Joyner Library North Carolina Collection: https://library.ecu.edu/specialcollections/ . The materials focus on eastern North Carolina history. Includes state and colonial record documents, county records, maps, rare books, newspapers and personal papers of many N.C. citizens. The Francis Manning Collection is from Martin County, is split between this library and the Martin County Historical Society.
